Tapeformers Excessive abrasion of the initial guide can be caused by large quantities of cable passing through it, and also when inserting draw wires into the cable, see figure below. If this is an issue Ceramic Inserts can be fitted as an option into the initial guide to provide protection against excessive abrasion of the guide.*
